Hey, Night Owls! It’s Kat and I told you I would be back with another review. Trouble Makes A Comeback by Stephanie Tromly is the sequel to her first book, Trouble Is A Friend of Mine. I was sent a copy by the lovely people at Penguin Teen for review. A big thanks to them. I gave this book 4.5/5 stars. I really enjoyed this book!
Zoe is finally achieving the normal high school experience she wanted at the beginning of the year. She finally has a boyfriend and has made some good friends. She can finally get back on track with trying to get into Princeton. Everything is going well until one day Digby comes back. He needs her help with finding his sister, who was kidnapped years ago.
I’ve come to admire Digby so much as a character. Yes, he can be a little rude, but he always comes through in the end. Although it may not seem like it, you can somehow always count on Digby. Zoe has also grown on me. I really relate to her.
This book was so much better than the first. The writing was improved, the characters were more developed, and the plot was better. I didn’t like the love triangle. Yesterday I started reading the third and final book. I will be posting a review for that on Friday.
